The distance from Sofia to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, is only 797 km. The proximity between the two destinations facilitates trade. That is why A Logistics receives many requests for shipments to Croatia. Our groupage trucks to this country travel twice a week. This is convenient for sending small shipments, which are consolidated at our base in Sofia. We can also send large shipments with a separate vehicle.
How we consolidate
Consolidation is the packing of a separate shipment or the grouping of shipments into standard containers. Grouping is done taking into account their contents so that there are no risks to the goods and products sent to Croatia. Consolidation ensures low prices, especially when small shipments are grouped together, as the transport costs are shared between the senders of these shipments.
We consolidate both shipments packed in boxes and cartons and palletized shipments.
We offer two types of consolidation – FCL
and LCL. If a certain temperature needs to be maintained, we use refrigerated containers. For larger volumes, we use container platforms.
You can order door-to-door transport to Croatia for FCL consolidated shipments. This is especially convenient if you are sending oversized cargo.
LCL consolidation – for groupage shipments
This type of consolidation is suitable for senders of small shipments – goods, personal belongings, and others. As already mentioned, the grouping is done in such a way that there are no risks to the contents of any shipment.
With LCL consolidation, you can be sure that your shipments will be sent quickly with the next groupage line to Zagreb.
The fact that shipments from different senders are transported together does not make tracking difficult. Each shipment is marked, and our modern tracking system provides us with up-to-date information on the status of shipments transported by a given vehicle.
Electronic document processing also facilitates the handling of shipments before dispatch and after arrival in Croatia.
With LCL consolidation, customers can also request door-to-door delivery.
Specialized vehicles for consolidated shipments
You can request consolidation and transport of various types of goods and cargo. We have both trucks for goods without special requirements for temperature, humidity, etc., and specialized vehicles for the transport of dangerous goods, clothes on hangers, fast-moving goods, and others.
Send your personal belongings with our groupage lines to Zagreb
Personal belongings – clothes, books, household items, personal vehicles – are conveniently consolidated in LCL containers. If you are staying in Croatia for a longer period of time and need to send your personal belongings necessary for your stay there, A Logistics' groupage lines are the most convenient way to do so.
Sending consolidated shipments by express transport
We can also provide express transport for your shipments. We have vehicles that are exclusively for express transport. If your shipments need to be delivered urgently in Croatia, request express transport in addition to consolidation and we will quickly arrange the shipment. For express transport, we also provide door-to-door delivery for maximum convenience for both senders and recipients.
