Supply by A Logistics

Supply is essential for uninterrupted production and the provision of services involving the use of spare parts.

A Logistics provides assistance with the design and management of material flows. In cooperation with our client companies, we familiarise ourselves with the characteristics of the raw materials and supplies so that we can plan the appropriate transport for their delivery. In addition, based on the required quantities of raw materials and supplies specified by our client companies, we plan the transport of these quantities. You can specify the quantity of raw materials and supplies required for a given period or for a specific order.

Determining deliveries for a given period

To supply the required quantities for a given, usually longer, period, A Logistics prepares a schedule. We take into account the volume of raw materials and supplies required for production during the period, as well as existing stocks of raw materials and supplies, where applicable.

Additional supply terms for client companies

The additional terms to be agreed with A Logistics for the supply of raw materials and supplies include their packaging, where necessary, as well as the payment method for transport and supply.

Centralised and decentralised supply

Depending on how their production is organised, client companies can request either centralised or decentralised supply.

With centralised supply, the company orders deliveries for all departments  or units. This type of supply has the advantage of avoiding duplicate orders. By ordering larger quantities, clients also reduce their supply costs.

Decentralised supply involves each of the company’s departments or units ordering quantities of raw materials and supplies separately, with the specialists in each department or unit determining the type and quantity of supplies to be delivered to their department or unit. The advantages of this type of supply are clear, as the specialists in a particular division are most familiar with its specific characteristics and requirements. Orders are prepared more quickly, which also results in shorter delivery times for the materials ordered.

Distribution by A Logistics

Distribution has its own specific characteristics, as each company’s requirements for distribution quantities differ.

The variety of finished products also requires different approaches to organising transport and storage.

Another key factor in distribution transport with A Logistics is the required timeframe for each delivery.

Storage of various finished products is provided in warehouses operated by A Logistics and our partners, with different products stored in separate sections according to their requirements for a specific temperature, absence of humidity and other special conditions. Managing stock with automated systems facilitates straightforward reporting and access to information.

Distribution through groupage transport

The groupage routes operated by A Logistics are highly suitable for sending small consignments for distribution purposes, particularly goods purchased from online shops. This ensures short delivery times for the goods and lower transport costs for distribution companies.
