Job description
- Account manager for a number of key Customer Accounts.
- Scheduling Drivers and vehicles to meet customer bookings.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
- Continuous improvement of departmental processes.
- Customer retention & liaising with Sales staff on key accounts.
- Issuing customer quotations & conversions into bookings.
Normal Hours
9 am to 18 pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required to meet the demands of the business.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Transport administration experience in a busy transport office environment with particular experience in European Roadfreight.
- Proficient in MS office
- Previous experience in the transport industry a distinct advantage.
- Previous experience in customer service role essential.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail essential in this role.
