Services Palletizing and flapping

The palletizing is a main activity for the preparation for A Logistics’ freight. The freight is put on the pallets – plain, or stands, or racks. The pallets have standard sizes, which eases their arranging in different transports. In one haulage of pallet shipment from A Logistics up to 66 pallets in package are transported.

After the arriving of the packages at the destination, a reverse process takes place – depalletizing, in which the freight is taken off the pallets and is transported to storages, stores, firms etc.

Refer to A Logistics for palletizing your shipments and depalletising loads after arriving at the final destination.

Advantages of palletizing

With the packing in pallets the loading and unloading are easier, which also shortens the time of processing. During the transportation, the pallets are counted easily, which is an advantage for keeping an eye on the sizes and the items freight. And when intermediate storing is needed, the pallets take less space.

What are pallets?

The pallets are flatness’s on which freight units are put on and set firmly. They protect the freight units from deforming and damages during transportation.
The construction of the pallets is continuously improving, so that it can be effortlessly easy to be processed with electric trucks and other elevating gears. A Logistics offers different pallets depending on the character of the clients’ freight.

The requirements for pallets for freight’s protection

A Logistics adheres to the requirements for ensuring the freight’s safety, stacked on the pallets. The packed pallets also ensure protection to the freight from atmospheric circumstances, such as dust, rain, snow and drastic temperature changes.

What units of packing are used for palletizing?

During packing, the specialists from A Logistics process boxes, plastic boxes, plastic or glass bottles, crates or other freight units. We offer palletizing for other freights too,

Packing of the pallets

Except arranging on the pallets, the palletizing includes packing the package itself. Most often the packing is with stretch folio.

Depalletizing

When depalletizing the content of a package can be divided in separate units or to be depalletized parts of the package, every single one of which includes different kinds of freight. A Logistics specifies with the clients during the time of the order what are requirements for the concrete package or packages.
After depalletizing units freight of different kinds from a few pallets A Logistics offers palletizing to these freights, if further transportation is required.
The future of the palletizing and depalletizing is in sensors and in processing from industrial robots

A Logistics keeps an eye on the applying of new technologies for palletizing and depalletizing like marking the pallets with sensors – even more often used way for providing information for every individual pallet. The sensor is put on the pallet and during process from automate system it provides the data for the freights in this package.

In both activities – palletizing and depalletizing, there is already a tradition for using industrial robots. The penetration of the robots is owed to their advantages. They aren’t big, are easily fastened on different surfaces, including walls and ceilings as they get to keep their radius of action. Besides that, the robots can place the freight units under different angles and in different places.
In the robotized palletizing not only, the efficacy of the activity is increased but also the robots reduce the risk of damaging the freight units to minimum.
